In Aid of Breast Cancer Research

A Pink Afternoon Tea
was hosted at my home this past Sunday to raise funds for
Breast Cancer Research.

A donation of $20 was required for entry

Guests sipped on cpink champagne in pink flutes kindly donated by the lovely pink balloon people!

A surprisingly pink tart was cut into and happily munched; crumbs falling onto pink napkins...

Skewers of pink fruits were dipped in pink berry yoghurt...

Pink straws and cups were sourced from the ever fabulous Ikea...
(donated by Mum)

Cat made a delicious Gluten & Lactose Free Coconut & Rhubarb cake...
...this was of course AFTER she threw out the first one where she accidentally used butter...

The afternoon was a success raising over $200 for Breast Cancer Research. Howeve, I must admit that there has never been so much pink in my house and I found it rather satisfying to burst the final pink balloon... until next year of course!

You can do your bit by donating or holding a Pink Fundraiser, or buying a Pink Ribbon this Pink Ribbon Day; Monday 26th October.

(14=number of time pink was mentioned in this post - make that 15!)
